Who are BodyCheck MOTs for?
Looking for a health check but not sure if you need to go the whole hog with blood tests, hormones tests and the rest? 30% percent of trips to the GP in the UK are for MSK conditions. Left untreated, MSK conditions can develop into persistent pain, impaired mobility and function, and poor mental well-being, which lead to other illnesses such as depression, diabetes, arthritis, obesity, and more. Our BodyCheck MOT is a thorough head-to-toe screening of your body’s strength, flexibility and mobility, designed to identify and prevent weaknesses and imbalances that could trigger unwanted symptoms, complaints and illnesses further down the line. Whether you’ve got a niggling ache, or you simply want peace of mind in how your body is tracking, then a BodyCheck MOT is for you.
What happens during a BodyCheck MOT?

Our BodyCheck MOT runs for 45 minutes, during which time we’ll perform a series of specific tests and measurements to analyse how your body moves and functions.

The tests will include:

  • Strength testing
  • Movement testing
  • Flexibility testing
  • Body and postural analysis

The tests will measure a series of key functional muscle and joint movements, as well as those specific to daily activities, to assess your range and strength. This will allow us to identify any risks of  MSK conditions or injury, and room for improvement.

Tapping into insights from your BodyCheck MOT report, we’ll also deliver a bespoke plan that you can take away with you to nip symptoms in the bud before they develop into something that might prevent you from feeling at your very best now, or in months to come. The plan will include arange of exercises for biomechanical correction, mobilisation and strengthening – all tailored to you and your needs.
